Legal Compliance Manager / Assistant Manager – JAKARTA



    Liaising and coordinating reporting matters, either internal reporting or regulatory reporting (e.g. reports to OJK, BI, or PPATK).
    Assisting in iimplementing the KYC Principles and AML and CFT programs within the Company.
    Managing and maintaining policies and procedures, and Good Corporate Governance principles implementation within the company.
    Managing and supervising the implementation of compliance systems, policies and procedures in the daily business activities of the Company to be implemented properly and in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
    Maintaining the legal and compliance archives / database, e.g., regulations, corporate documents, business license, corporate approvals and agreements in the shared folder and/or the intranet.
    Ensure the compliance related document is properly drafted, controlled, and completed as required.
    Involved in the day to day legal and compliance matters within the Company to be implemented properly and in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
    Provide legal advice to support all business functions and management to be executed properly and in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
    Provide employees training on compliance related topics, policies or procedures related to compliance, to ensure employees have proper knowledge understanding to comply with prevailing laws and regulations.
    Provide assistance or support to internal or external auditor’s activities, as necessary.
    Prepare GAP analysis, if needed, on new legislation which may impact to the company business activities to ensure that the company is in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
    Conduct compliance audits and examinations, in cooperation with Internal Audit Function, within the company to ensure the company business activities are in compliance with the prevailing laws and regulations.
    Prepare policies and procedures related to compliance matters to ensure all internal business activity comply with the prevailing laws and regulations.
    Manage and develop the compliance team to be able to support compliance function within the company.
    Minimum Qualifications


    Bachelor of Laws (Sarjana Hukum) from the Faculty of Law of a prominent university in Indonesia.
    Having at least 8 years of working experiences in corporate law firms and/or banks and/or financing companies in Indonesia.
    Excellent understanding and knowledge regarding internal compliance system, policy and procedure, and understand the regulatory reporting under the prevailing laws and regulations.
    Excellent understanding in regulatory compliance matters, particularly with respect to the prevailing laws and regulations re financing companies.
    Must possess effective leadership skills.
    Strong, pragmatic business acumen with the ability to recognize the business consequences of legal advice.
    Excellent legal drafting skills.
    Excellent English communication skills (writing and speaking).
    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
    Proven track record of strong negotiation, communication, organizational, and people management skills and the ability to influence and build relationships with minimum supervision.
    Experience in handling high volume of work and activities involving multiple and complex projects simultaneously.
    Ability to manage competing priorities.
    Problem solving skill.
    Attention to detail & highly organized.
